1. Account means Your KakuPay account administered by Wealthnet Finance Plc.
2. Agreement means the Application form which is filled in hard copy or online together with these rules, which form a legally binding agreement between You and Us.
3. Application form means the application form issued by either a registered Wealthnet Finance Plc Agent or found and filled on our official websites. These rules are attached to the application form.
4. Cash means the Malawi Kwacha (MWK or MK or K). Wealthnet Finance Plc will announce if there is a change in currency in use.
5. Charges mean the fee You will pay for using the KakuPay Online Money Transfer services.
6. Credit means the transfer of E-money into Your account.
7. Debit means the transfer of E-money out of Your account.
8. Customer call centre means the Wealthnet Finance Plc customer call centre.
9. Deposit means the cash Deposit You make at the appointed KakuPay Agent outlet.
10. E-money means the electronic money created and issued by KakuPay which will equate to the deposits.
11. ID means for Malawian nationals a Malawian National Identity card, passport or driver’s licence; and passport with a residence and/or work permit for foreigners.
12. MSISDN means Your cellphone’s mobile station identification number.
13. MVTMS means the Mobile Value Transfer Management System.
14. Outlet/Agent means each entity registered by KakuPay to fulfil functions of Mobile Money Transfer.
15. PIN means the Personal Identification Number chosen by You.
16. Secret password means the secret password allocated to You upon activation of your account.
17. Services mean the Wealthnet Finance Plc’s KakuPay Money Transfer Services to be offered through KakuPay which will enable You to perform transactions.
18. SMS means short message services.
19. Start PIN means the PIN KakuPay sends to your registered mobile phone so that you activate your online account.
20. Money Transfer PIN is the PIN you set when you want to transfer form for the first time on KakuPay. This this is the PIN you will need to use each time you want to transfer funds.
21. Transactions mean one or more of the transactions listed in clause 4 below.
22. USSD means the Unstructured Supplementary Service Data menu on Your cellphone that lists all the services.
23. You/Your/ Yourself means You as the holder of the account.
24. We/ Us/Our means Wealthnet Finance Plc, Bank or any Wealthnet Finance Plc outlet.
25. Wealthnet Finance Plc Subscriber means any prepaid or contract Wealthnet Finance Plc subscriber or account holder.
